Our home away from home. We’re sharing our home with only family and a few close and trusted friends.
Your stay is free so please respect the community rules and most importantly our neighbours.
Bayline is not a hotel.
We don’t have people to clean up after you. Please always tidy up after you are done. Our community staff are the best, treat them well and with a smile!

Doors / Gates/Rules
I have printed out all Bayline rules for you to read, they’re on the kitchen counter. Please don’t break them. If I get fined then I’ll pass the fine onto you. You won’t be invited back to Bayline. I like a peaceful life and my neighbors deserve it too.
The front desk can help you with anything you need. Introduce yourself as family or friends so reception will know you have arrived. I will already have emailed them to let receptionist know we have guests. Please call or text +351 962 482 121.
Street gate access and access into our building Block 5.1.
Buttons on the door are “touch buttons”. Please hold your finger against it for a second then, next button.

Keys
In the event you get locked out the front desk will give you a key to our unit. Once in the unit we have extra keys in the white box on the table. Please use these keys. Return the key to the reception area ASAP.
Garage and Gate Clicker
The gate clicker will be in the white box on the table. If you don’t have a car you won’t need it.
Top left button opens gate from road.
Top right button opens gate to our parking space.
Do not guess where to park, if unsure please call me. Your car will be towed.
Electricity
If the electricity is not on when you get into the apartment do the following:
Closet by front door, open right hand door.
Open electric box.
On the bottom click the big switch up.
The switch turns on electric and hot water.
Important - turn this switch off when your stay is complete.
Sand, shoes and Luggage
Batty correctly says “Sand is the enemy” of our plumbing. If you’re coming back from the beach rinse off before entering the apartment. Do not use our showers to rinse off sand.
Please take shoes off before going into the apartment. Please leave shoes by the front door inside the apartment.
There’s room to store your luggage/bags in the bedroom wardrobe (top shelf).

Light by the TV
To turn on/off open right door of the TV unit and there’s a switch.
Rubbish
Please bring your rubbish out to the bins on the road. Remember to bring the keys to get back in.
All rubbish gets brought outside to the various bins on the road.
Smoking
No smoking in the apartment or on the balcony. Bayline is a no smoking building. If you smoke please do so outside of Bayline. You may see others smoking but it’s against Bayline rules and we don’t want hassle.
Pool
Please don’t reserve any chairs. Use them as you need them and take your belongings away when finished. If you’re popping away for lunch, take your things with you and free up the space for my neighbors.
Gym
Bring your towel.
Wear suitable clothing and closed sneakers (no flip-flops).
Put everything back in the correct space after you have finished.
Massage
Call or visit the front desk to book the Massage room. The room is free to book.
We don’t advise you to use Bayline massage therapist (very expensive).
Call our massage therapist to book your time. He is €50 for 1 hour.

Washer/Dryer
Please never, ever hang your towels over the railing. We will get fined for this.
Please see video (below) on how to use washing machine. There’s a clothes hanger in press by front door. Use this on the balcony to dry all clothes.
Don’t use the dryer (it’s slow and not great).

Bistro 1956 - Excellent €25 pp
Bollywood - excellent Indian - butter sauce with any meat or veg is delicious
Chines Kamkong -
Tony - Mongolian beef (so good)
Kai - sweet sour chicken
Imz - vegetarian curry mild (comes with mushrooms).

Calixtos beach bar · Armação de Pêra
Calixtos is a casual, V nice restaurant with a beach front view. Large menu.
We really enjoyed it. Live music at the weekend. ( need to check to confirm on website). 15min walk.
Sardinha Assada Restaurante · Armação de Pêra
Sardinha is casual. V nice on the beach.
Eaten there twice. 15 min walk.

Haven't been. Little more dressy and expensive. Beach view. Looks v nice. 15 min walk.

A little more expensive. Praia Dourada - on the beach. €35 per person with drink. Lovely but there’s better value else where. I’d still recommend as it’s so nice. Beach front. 5mins walk

Opposite the beach. 5mins walk

We’re delighted that you’re staying at Bayline however, if you damage anything while staying we will want you to replace it.
Everything is new so, any damage and we will request you purchase a replacement.
